I started this picture thinking of the challenges of one-half year of hospitalization. I had gone from a healthy young successful sixty year old man to one who was paralyzed on my right (dominant) side with a small and an engineering firm that was trying to stay afloat without the founder or a vision for the future. Some loyal friends and employees helped. I have always doogoled on paper, so I took up art in a community school art class. This painting was able to see that there were doors opening. Life is beautiful because of my wife, friends and family. It’s now nearly five years and ninety paintings later.
