Cabin on the Lake
The painting is my vision of one of my daughters as she quietly and prayerfully walks on the trail through the beauties and challenges of our existence. I love to see her carrying a book that may be a book of scriptures, daily inspirations or a diary as she makes the necessary steps in the serenity of nature. The peacefulness present in the picture really helps comfort me as I struggle through this new existence of being bedridden or in a wheelchair. Life changes as we all have barriers block and new doors open to us. Painting is a new door that continues to open. It's great physical and mental therapy. Thanks for sharing it with me.
